David Gordon And Steve Gordon ：

Gordon 两兄弟可以说是NEW AGE音乐的先驱者之一，成名至今超过20年~~~他们来自美国南加利福尼亚州，大卫自小学习钢琴、单簧管和笛子；而史提夫学习的则是钢琴、吉他和鼓。自高中开始，他们就参加了各种各样的音乐团体~~~~他们后来双双成功考取了著名的小数林音乐学院（Grove Music Academy），学习现代和声学及爵士，师从著名的音乐家Steve Lukather, Robbin Ford 和 Dick Grove。

由David and Steve Gordon创立的Sequoia Records已经20年了，是新世纪音乐的创始鼻祖之一，他们率先将大自然的声音融入音乐中，以达到放松与冥想的目的。1982年发行首张专辑Misty Forest Morning。1994年，在12年以原住民为主题的创作后， David & Steve Gordon开始一个大胆的尝试。他们发现鼓声可以带来更多趣味性的音乐发展，因此开始鼓动系列(Sacred Earth Drums / Sacred Spirit Drums / Drum Medicine)的创作。他们跑遍全世界收集各种各样的鼓并开始学习印地安笛。他们希望做出一种以鼓为中心，附以传统印第安乐器、吉他、键盘以及自然声响的融合世界音乐及氛围音乐的新类型。

1994年，Sacred Earth Drums（地球圣鼓）横空出世。这个经典专集在发行后马上成为各个NEW AGE排行榜榜首，并且占据那个位置长达3年之久。紧接着又发行了Sacred Spirit Drums （精神圣鼓）。作为《Sacred Earth Drums 地球圣鼓》的姐妹篇，《Sacred Spirit Drums 精神圣鼓》虽然没有了前者问世时带来的轰动效应和新鲜感，但它无疑是更加悦耳动听。
1996~1998年，作曲家/演奏家Gary Stadler和Zingain陆续加入Sequoia Records，更丰富了Sequoia的音乐范畴。

1999年，Drum Medicine （鼓疗/迷药幻鼓）发行，它马上成为各个新世纪音乐排行榜上销量最好的专集，并在此后两年里持续占据着5强之位。这个专集比之前的鼓类专集更显成熟，运用了更多的音乐元素。
《Drum Medicine 鼓疗/迷药幻鼓》是一张AMG评分四星半的专辑。也是他们两兄弟的经典专辑之一。在这个专辑里，仅在CD册子所看到的鼓就超过20只，再加上各种各样的乐器和人声，汇合成一种令人难以抗拒的魅力。这绝对是一张你意料之外的专辑，鼓是中心，然而却一点不显粗暴和卤莽，各种各样的鼓声和整齐划一鼓点是令这张专辑出彩的地方。
