Above all, his ingenious shaping of rhythmical elements reflects his adept and informed handling of his instrumentation without negating the up-to-date trends of today. Born in Germany, Guido taught himself to play the keyboard at the age of 15. While most of his contemporaries loved performing live, Guido graduated as a Sound Engineer and Tonmeister at the School of Audio Engineering (SAE) in Sydney to hone his studio skills in his pursuit of the perfect sound.Since his debut album, Blue Garden, in 1990, he has captivated listeners with inspiring and uplifting melodies on a backdrop of laidback rhythms a la the ever popular Chill Out and Café-del-Mar music scene. Guido describes his music as an alluring instrumental journey for open minds.
